My studio was recently approved and i wanted to setup AdSense, there were two options: 1. classic Ad serving and 2. AdSense for platforms. If i were to use option 2, I’d need an AdSense account which will have my payment information right? so what about classic Ad serving? How and where do I set my payment information (like address and bank info) if I were to use this approach?
-
Classic Ad serving: Where you set up payment information: Just like in AdSense for Platforms, if you are using Classic Ad Serving, you must still set up a Google AdSense account. After signing up, you’ll go to the “Payments” section to enter your bank account details, payment address, and other required financial information. This is the same “Payments” section where you would set up payment info regardless of the AdSense method you choose.
-
Adsense for platforms: Where you set up payment information: In your AdSense account, you’d go to the “Payments” section. This is where you’ll add your bank account information, tax info, and your address.
- To set this up, you go to “Settings” → “Payments” → “Manage payment methods”.
- You’ll add your payment address and bank details so AdSense can send you earnings when you meet the payout threshold.
both options (Classic Ad Serving and AdSense for Platforms) require you to have an AdSense account with payment details set up. The main difference lies in the integration and structure, but your payment information is managed through AdSense itself.
If you choose Classic Ad Serving, you’ll still need to sign up for AdSense, where you can then manage payment information. The only real distinction is in how ads are served and how the platform is structured, but for payments, the setup is the same across both options.
(Do not thanks me, thank to Chatgpt, it gave me all the information, you can if you need more information ask from it)
I hope that the guidance helped you!
